It’s hard not to fall in love with our Lovestruck print- and not just because it's Valentine's Day! Its sweetness and simplicity are the perfect look for your baby – and an even better look for their nursery. Here’s how you can create this less-is-more look inspired by our Lovestruck print.
1. Straight as an arrow
Lines are such a simple design element, but can be a lot of fun when you use them the right way. Consider a striped accent wall, a fun throw rug, some pretty crib sheets, or all three to incorporate lines into the room. Arrows are a great way to bring lines into the room- check out this arrow accent lamp or these brass book ends.
2. Pick a color, any color
Black and white is classic and timeless- but you need a pop of color in there somewhere. So pick one! We voted for red in our Lovestruck print, but that’s the beauty of black and white: it goes with everything. You might even choose two colors. We did! Our Lovestuck sack has red hearts and a soft blue zipper. Gold is always a great place to start, and then add in touches of pink, blue, mint, red, or whatever your favorite is.
3. Shape Up
We love hearts, but triangles, circles, and squares work too. Bold shapes paired with simple lines are a combination you’re sure to love. These imperfect circle decals from Wee Gallery, this triangle pillow or this hearts fitted crib sheet from Etsy are some of our favorites.
4. Time to Play
We are in love with the entire Emily & Meritt Collection from Pottery Barn Kids! From the Organic XOXO Fitted Crib Sheet to these decorative pillows (on sale!) to this vintage-y Heart Clock, this collection is full of perfect additions for your Lovestruck nursery. Our favorite piece from the collection is this black, white, and gold Activity Gym with multi-sensory toys to get your little one loving play time.
Now that you have all the elements of a simple, classic, minimalist nursery, all you need is our Lovestruck swaddle or sack on our 70% bamboo, 30% cotton fabric blend. Feel it and fall in love – plus, get 15% off from now until Friday, February 17, 2017!
Happy Valentine's Day from your friends at Nested Bean!
