2018 by the numbers

As 2018 comes to a close I wanted to take a moment to wish you and your loved ones a very happy new year, as well as share highlights from what has been a momentous year for Nested Bean.

Welcomed new arrivals of our own

  • A beautiful re-brand was launched which helped cement our commitment to better sleep and family wellness. It resonated strongly with all our customers. 
  • The Zen Footie and Bodysuit entered the family of Zen Sleepwear and were adored by all.
  • Three Sleep Consultants joined us as Nested Bean partners, whose advice has been helping our customers get the restful sleep they deserve.
  • Playful prints added during the holiday season delivered oodles of spirit and cheer.

Shared Sweet Talks

We increased our conversations with customers on several channels. The dedicated Nested Bean community specialists engaged with customers in around 85,000 one on one conversations. Social media was the most engaged channel with around 49,000 posts answered, followed by around 18,000 chat messages responded to.

Added Frequent Flyer Miles

Nested Bean products travelled far and wide to deliver sleep to babies both here at home in the US, as well as internationally. Zen Sleepwear gained 50,000,000 frequent flyer miles travelling to all corners of the United States and 7,000,000 miles to international destinations.

Gained Customer Love

Our customers showed their love for Nested Bean’s content by liking and sharing it (more than a million times!) with their friends. This goodness got us over 1 million likes and 30K new followers and fans. Such an overwhelming response has encouraged us to create even more relevant and engaging content in the coming year and I am very certain that our fantastic content team is excited at the opportunity.

Delivered Sweet Dreams

Last but most importantly, we delivered 80,000,000 peaceful nights to babies and new parents so that they could enjoy brighter days and make lasting memories together.

Looking Ahead

After taking stock of this year’s achievements, I am reminded of what is possible when we work hard, take risks and stay true to our values. Although we are thrilled at the successes of this year, we know not to linger for too long.

We enter 2019 on a healthier note with a promise to continue to raise the bar in product innovation and customer value, to stay humble, keep learning and apply lessons learnt in our every activity.
