I’ve bought these for my grandson 3 years ago and he slept in them. I bought all three sizes sacks for him as he out grew them plus a swaddle one when he was born in July 2019. I have another grandson 7 months and I’ve bought 0 to six months swaddle and O to six months sacks he sleeps all night and bought the next size swaddle up. Have a new grandson coming June 29 bought him the swaddle O to 6 months for him they love them
Rory M.
Seems good to me, but haven't tried it on myself ; )
Louann T.
Love it and it worked on the 1st night for my infant. The only thing I would add on is the zipper on the bottom so it's easy to change the baby in the middle of the night without unswaddling.
Amanda M.
Love love love this product! So easy to use and our little one loves it. Our sweet babe just turned 2 months and is sleeping 8 hours a night. I can’t help but think that nested bean has helped her get to that huge milestone!
The fabric is super soft and stretchy- so wrapping and swaddling a wiggly baby is super easy. The 2 Velcro swatches on the inside are great quality too. They also aren’t too loud . We’ve tried some other swaddle blankets where the Velcro is inanely loud and hard to get on and off!
This is our 3rd baby and couldn’t say more great things about this product! We have 3 wraps incase of spit up or blow outs too. We are definitely nested bean fans and customers for life!
Danielle K.
My baby liked it but she wiggled it around her neck where it velcros and with the weighted part couldn’t get it off
Lara S.
My baby is a super baby and can get out of swaddles. I swaddle her in the miracle blanket and then put the zen swaddle over that. The zen swaddle is soft and high quality. I like the weighted feature of it. The leg area is nice and big to allow leg and hip movement.
Adrianne B.
Material makes it too easy for a baby to get their arms out of the swaddle...no matter how tight you wrap them. Baby gets her arms up and I'm afraid one of these times she's going to pull the swaddle over her face in her efforts. Does help her sleep longer once she is out though.
Marissa P.
Our little guy struggled to sleep through his startle reflex and we tried EVERYTHING (traditional swaddles, swaddle wraps, etc) and nothing worked. He also HATED being put in his bassinet and only wanted to sleep if he was being held. So we were up most of the night with him every night! I ordered these swaddles as a last ditch effort and they were an absolute game changer. We got them when our babe was about 4 weeks old and the very first night he slept in his bassinet for 2-3 hour increments, only waking to eat! He developed colic shortly after and snugly wrapping him in these swaddles is one of the only things that consistently soothes him. He’s 6 weeks old now and sleeps independently and right through his startle reflex and only wakes up when he’s hungry!! I already ordered more items for when he grows out of the swaddles!!
Kristen B.
We love our Nested Bean swaddles. I’ve noticed he is sleeping better at night since using them.
Rae-lyne S.
My baby for the longest time has slept with his arms out as I honestly couldn’t get the typical swaddle to hold him down, so because if that he would wake up because of the reflex. Not only does it hold him in tight but because if the little weighted spots it keeps him relaxed all night and even when just feeding. I would highly recommend this to any new parent!
Michelle H.
Work great for my son but the quality isn't what I expected for the price. First one week mine ripped at the velcro.
Brandon L.
It didn't seem to have any substantially positive effect on our baby boy. We might try it again when he's around 4 months. Right now, he's small enough to wiggle himself out of the swaddle. A couple of times, his Houdini antics got the swaddle wrapped dangerously around his neck. So now we just don't use this product. Other swaddles are more snug for a baby his size, so we feel more comfortable with those products for now.
Chen C.
The minute I wrap my little one with Zen swaddle, he became sleepy and starts closing his eyes!
Remington P.
I wish the inner weighted flap had velcro to have the out wraps attach better. My little is a wiggler and can wiggle out of it.
Cherie S.
Great swaddle. I think my little guy does like the weighted part of it and sleeps well at night with it. I will say it is not easy getting it snug enough with a squirmy baby to where he is unable to work his arms up and out eventually. It’s very difficult with naps when he’s more restless because he busts out of it almost every time. I was using swaddle me swaddles before and found it easier to keep those snug and think I may get the next size up for his naps for these reasons and keep these for.nighttime only.
Sam C.
Theses swaddles have been great! My little guy sleeps so much better!
HANNA A.
Excellent product
Marisa M.
This swaddle has been the one our daughter has loved the most! Other swaddles she gets out of. This one allows her to have her hands near her face if she needs to, but prevents her reflexes from waking her up. The weight of the beans allows her to feel as if our hand is on her chest I imagine.
Lilly C.
The weighted swaddle hasn't done anything to increase my 1 month old's sleep. The swaddle is nice and more secure than a blanket, but I could have bought something much cheaper for that on Amazon. I also wish the bottom had a zipper so you can open it there for diaper changes, rather than undoing the whole swaddle and waking up my baby.
Jaymee F.
Girls slept great!
Amanda L.
I like that this can work throughout my son's growth. We use it often.
Danielle B.
I bought this swaddle because my daughter (2 months) sleeps very well being swaddled so I’m hoping the weight will make for an easy transition to the sleep sack once she outgrows this one. She loves it and sleeps great in it. We will definitely be purchasing the sleep sack when the time comes!
Ricardo C.
Great product. Easy to used and soothing for the baby when it comes to sleeping longer overnight.
Walter M.
Bought a two pack of Zen Swaddles.
Pros- Made with quality fabric/patterns and strong Velcro.
Cons - Seems like if you have a bigger baby the wings are not long enough to keep your child’s arms tucked away
Heather B.
These are the best swaddles! He sleeps so well in these!
Alexandra V.
I loved these with my older daughter. She still sleeps with one (19 months old). We started using them when she was about 3 and a half months old and couldn't be swaddled anymore because she was consistently rolling over. With our newborn (4 weeks) we have been using the swaddle and the sleep sack with the adjustable arms for self-soothing. We've had the most luck with the swaddle and it helps him sleep in longer stretches through the night between feedings.
Irene S.
These were a gift heading to London so with the holidays and shut downs it will be a while before we get photos.
John A.
Did not improve baby's sleep at all
Mayra A.
During the first night we used it, our baby got in more sleep than ever! Yay!! We are so happy with our purchase!
Liam A.
The weighted swaddle is a miracle worker for our baby. We went from 2 hours of sleep at a time to 4-4.5 at a time. It's wonderful!
Michael W.
Love these swaddles!!! Have bought just about every brand of swaddles for the baby and all the other tricks that worked for our other two didn’t work for this little guy. A friend recommended the Zen line and it’s been a game changer! He’s gone from waking every 20 minutes to sleeping 5-6 hours.
Starr W.
My newborn loves it. I’m sure makes him feel safe and snug.
Libby P.
This is an amazing product, by far the best swaddle we have used. Bub loves it and it is so easy to use. Has definitely helped with sleeping. Would absolutely recommend it. Thank you!!!
Julie S.
Hi parents! We have been using the 0 to 6 month for 6 weeks I believe? Leah loves to be wrapped up. She is 8 weeks tomorrow. Leah sleeps in 5 to 3 hour stretches and is breastfed! She sleeps great now that it's harder to break free. The weight on her chest helps. Before we purchased, we notice if we put our hand on her chest she would fall asleep faster. Thats why I wanted one. I used blankets for swaddling with our first daughter wish I had these! She does sometimes wiggle her little hand out. Before she was completely breaking free and made me nervous. This swaddle is so soft and still is after many many washes already. Definitely get 2! Just incase one gets wet from your little bean sleeping so soundly for hours! Get it! Good luck sweet dreams!
Casey O.
been using these nightly, it does settle fussiness a little bit, but sleeping longer? no not so much.
Melinda B.
I think the product works okay. My baby was accustomed to the love to dream arms up swaddle and unfortunately I waited 3 weeks for the weighted sleeper in the arms up to never come back in stock so I took a plunge and ordered the swaddle. I think the product will work wonders if your baby likes a traditional swaddle. My baby has had slight improvement but once he does wake up he just whines to bust out of the wrap, so it did not work for us.
Katie S.
I love the quality of the swaddle. I do wish it was a liiiiiitle longer but we have definitely converted from halos now!
Samantha &.
I use this during the day naps and he seems to like it, but doesn’t sleep long much. He moves quite a bit in it, and sometimes it goes up to his face. He does seem to enjoy it when he is just falling asleep but hates it when he feels stuck. He is still getting used to it though. I’ll give more feedback more when it’s more consistent.
Samantha K.
This swaddle is ok. Honestly didn’t notice much difference between regular swaddles and this weighted one.
Jessica P.
My babe is soothed by my hand on her chest so this seemed like a brilliant idea. So far she hasn't taken to it
Kristi B.
Love these! We used the halo sleepsack swaddle on my son, but my newborn daughter didn’t seem to like them as well. We noticed she liked pressure on her chest, so we got these to try. She sleeps so much better in these. However, just a word of caution, my daughter is almost 3 months now. She can wiggle her arms out and somehow the swaddle gets up against her throat. So we are very cognizant of that and always on the look out. Its happened a handful of times. Thats the only reason I’m giving 4 instead of 5 stars. Oh, also, my daughter is super long for her age, in the 90th percentile. These say they are ok for up to 6 months or 28”. My daughter is about 25” and seems to have outgrown it. She can’t stretch her legs out all the way.
Kassidy l.
My daughter loves the sleep sack! I started using it when she was 3 weeks old and she sleeps a minimum of 4 hours at night before waking up.
Clarlin H.
Leg pocket doesn't seem long enough for 0-6 months. My son is 10 weeks old and sometimes he kicks it off. I wish it were longer or maybe some inner Velcro to keep it in place. Also wish there was a bottom zipper so we didn't have to unswaddle for late night diaper changes.
Brittney U.
Bought these for my daughter that has frequently seizures. The first night we tried them she only had one seizure compared to 6. Absolutely love these! Will definitely be buying more
Kevin P.
They get stretched out through the night and then my baby’s arms end up by her neck and wakes herself up ....and I wish there was a zipper on the bottom for diaper changes instead of taking the entire thing off
Lo C.
For us, this swaddle didn’t help with baby’s sleep at all. On top of that, he wiggles out of it much more easily than any of the other swaddles we’ve put him in. On several occasions, he would kick around enough to dislodge the weighted areas so they ended up down at his knees rather than on his chest and sides. We watched the videos to make sure we were using the swaddle correctly and no matter what we try it just isn’t a good fit fo our baby.
I like that there’s room for baby to grow and the lower area is spacious for his legs to move around freely.
Naomi M.
We have purchased the two pack both times so that we have a back I’ll in case of spit up or blow out emergencies!
Al G.
It’s an easy, perfect weight swaddle and we use it for that. Unfortunately for us we didn’t notice a difference at all in his sleep patterns- still needing mom’s hand to calm him and only sleeping 3-4 hour stretches at 2 months.
Leah T.
We love it. Hes 4 months old and sleeps through the night. It is breathable, and light. We use it every night. Huge difference in his sleeping pattern.
TERESA M.
Our 2 month old grandson was not sleeping well when we kept him overnight. We keep him 2 nights a week. I decided to try one of the Zen swaddles and it is wonderful. The baby slept 6 hours the first night and improved even more. It has truly been a blessing for the whole family.
Nicolette R.
Been using nested bean since my 18 month old was born, and now using them for her baby sister that was born recently
Sarah M.
The swaddle is great! It is so soft and had plenty of room for my 3.5 month. My only regret is that I did not buy it sooner because within a couple weeks of purchasing the swaddle, he learned how to roll back to tummy.
Madelyn M.
My 2month old baby loves wearing the nested bean swaddle!
Cassandra H.
Works well. Even when I swaddle my daughter just like the video shows she still manages to get her hands up by her face. Still would recommend the product
Mallory R.
We started using this swaddle about 2 weeks ago when baby was 5 weeks old. The first few nights were terrible, she seemed to hate it! We ended up giving up part way through the night and switching back to our old method. But by night 3 or 4 she seemed to get used to it. Her sleep has improved some in these 2 weeks of use, but it's hard to say if it's really due to the swaddle or just developmental. Certainly isn't a magic fix by any means.
The swaddle itself is quite heavy between the chest weight and the ones on the sides. It adds noticeable weight to the baby and when you are carrying them around trying to get them to sleep, a heavier baby is not ideal! Also, when she kicks her feet, the front panel slides down and she is able to get her legs free, no matter how tightly we wrap it. If we get her to sleep and put her down then she seems to stay wrapped well enough until she wakes up and starts moving around before the next feeding. But if you want to put baby down awake to fall asleep independently, any kicking around will likely lead to escape and needing to be re-wrapped.
I guess we're committed now, but I wish I'd tried something with a different design that will keep her more secure and she can't escape.
Courtney B.
Our little guy sleeps really well but needed to be rocked completely to sleep until nested bean! Last night I swaddled him and sat him down to get myself ready for bed, and when I came back minutes later to rock him he was already sound asleep! Excellent product!
Calista N.
My daughter was a very figitty sleeper and needed us to constantly put the pacifier in her mouth. Since getting the best bean sack she is much more comfortable and sleeps for longer stretches, absolutely love it!
Twyla G.
I bought this for my grandson who was born 34 weeks. He Only slept three hours at the most until I brought the Zen swaddles. The first night my daughter put the swaddle on him he slept 7 1/2 hours recommend this product for anybody who has a newborn baby
Abha N.
Absolutely loved it !! Material is really good and it’s super easy to swaddle .
Joel V.
Love the swaddle. My daughter slept good
Annmarie C.
A friend who works in childcare recommended Nested Bean. The weighted swaddles are a great idea, but they're not a sleep miracle. Our little one sleeps a little better with this swaddle, but it's not a significant difference; she seems to like it sometimes, and hate it other times. Pros: the weights (obviously), the inside pocket for smaller babies, and the fancy velcro. Cons: the price. These are also really warm and not really an option on warm nights. And, they are absolutely NOT wiggle-proof. Our little escape artist can break out of these things in seconds if she wants to (especially her arms). Bottom line, I'm keeping these, but we're only using them every once in a while, and mommy and daddy aren't getting any extra sleep because of them.
Marissa W.
I will say that within a few days, my baby did start sleeping longer. Not sure if its age or the swaddle but either way, I would definitely recommend! They are very well made and the 2 pack is a great deal, especially so we have an extra in case of a nighttime diaper blowout! My son is now 8 weeks old and sleeping approximately 6 hours at the first part of the night.
Tori H.
The produce is great, but I just wish there was a velcro section from the first layer with the beans to the left swaddle arm. If you don't get a super, super tight tuck of the swaddle arm my baby kicks and then her legs are out the bottom but still swaddled. The whole point is for the beans to make her feel cuddled and now she is just sitting on them. She definitely sleeps longer using the product though if she doesn't kick.
Irene P.
Was hopeful it would help my very attached 1 month old but didn't work for us. No matter how tightly we swaddled her, she kept working the swaddle up so the "arms" bunched around her neck so we stopped using it. It didn't seem to soothe her much either. We went back to the Halo & Swaddle Up as we felt safer with those not bunching up around her neck. The material of the Zen is very nice and soft.
Sandra D.
Our son loves the swaddle! He is 2 months and we were getting around 4 hour streaks of sleep, but now he can go close to 6 or 7 hours straight at night! Even naps are improving and he is putting himself back to sleep from time to time. I will definitely look into the other products as our son gets older!
Erin R.
The swaddles calm my son down and help him sleep- he sleeps throughout the night now! Great product, absolutely essential!
Lisa S.
Went from 4-5 hrs a night to 7-8 within the week!
Macy M.
We love nested bean! We ordered the bundle for our second child. It helps so much and keeps him comfortable when sleeping. We now give this as a gift to our friend expecting too!
Chris O.
My son loved the feeling of security. He helped him sleep at night without a lot of movements from him. They are a little pricey and if it aren’t for that I would definitely order more, regardless this is a must especially for babies with colic.
Ayla S.
Great concept and design just doesn’t Work well with our wiggle worm, she manages to have one if not both of her hands out of the swaddle in a matter of minutes, she is only a month old. We have tried several ways with the sea swaddle and it either becomes loose or rises up over her mouth.
Allie V.
I bought the 2 pack Sen swaddle, and I needed it because the first night he peed all over the first one! My kid is a hulk when it comes to bursting out of his swaddle, and this was the first one that we didn't see his hands on his face. WE LOVE IT!!
Katrina T.
This swaddle definitely helped our son sleep better, he went from 1-2 hour stretches to 3-4 hours, a few nights even 5 hours of sleep. It is a life saver because getting zero sleep with a newborn and a 2 yr old is not a fun situation! We have 3 incase it gets dirty in the middle of the night, I am not risking not having it!
For reference our son was 2 weeks old when we started using it and he is now 6 weeks old.
Colleen N.
Our baby seems to be sleeping better with it. Good quality
Erica J.
AMAZING! I will be purchasing more of these for my daughters and future children, as well as baby shower gifts for my expecting family and friends ❤️
Tia S.
I wish I would have just invested in these swaddles from the beginning! My LO fell asleep much faster with these and I could have saved money by skipping regular velcro swaddles and just buying a couple of these.
Allison G.
Overall I'm happy with the swaddles.
What I love:
-Super soft fabric
-Lightweight so baby doesn't overheat
-Easy to get on/off with just the Velcro (no zippers or other fasteners)
Disappointment:
It didn't help more than any other swaddle
We have Halos and also some cheaper swaddles from Walmart. The Zen sack works as well as the Halos for our baby. That's a positive in that the Halos work well; however, I bought the Zen hoping our baby would sleep a little better. He hates sleeping on his back and prefers being held while he sleeps. I hoped this swaddle would help him feel like he was being held and therefore sleep better on his back. Unfortunately, the weight seems not to make a difference.
I'm still happy with the Zen and chose to keep it, but it's not the solution I was hoping for.
Brittany O.
We were a little skeptical of how this would work. But this has been a life saver! Not only at night for bed but when our little peanut is over tired and refuses to go to nap. We bundle him in here and he instantly settles. We love it!
Brittney T.
My two month old was waking up a couple times a night and taking HORRIBLE naps during the day and I was okay with it. Then he started waking up every hour at night and I was NOT okay with that. On the third night of waking constantly I had had enough and in my sleep deprived state decided to give these "magic" swaddles a go. I really wanted to try the ones with the mesh detachable arms but they were sold out and I wasn't waiting until April. Turns out the swaddles are pretty fantastic. He has always loved to be swaddled but this one is SO much better, he loves it! He has been taking much better naps during the day and now is only waking once or twice during the night. My only complaint about the swaddle is that it is really hard to get it wrapped tight enough around the little guy to keep his arms from escaping.
Krista S.
The Nested Bean is extremely soft and I wanted to love it. The little chick part with the beans is so sweet. It didn’t swaddle my baby well at all and he was already getting way too big for it at 8 weeks old, he’s a big baby.
Bridgett B.
Love this product.
Cedar B.
The weights help our little one sleep where no other sleep sack has been able to do so. However the Velcro is VERY aggressive. There is no way to open it without completely waking him up to check on his diaper.
Jamie C.
Love this swaddle! The fabric is so soft and stretchy to give baby a cozy wrap. The weighted parts of the swaddle are perfect for making my little one feel comforted in the night. I’ve used lots of different swaddles and this is by far the best one!
Natana T.
Our baby loves being swaddled but she loves being held more. This swaddle gives her the feeling of being held with the comfort of being swaddled. After 4 nights she was sleeping for 6-7 hours a night at only 5 weeks old!
Amisadai M.
Our son was suffering from Moro Reflex and would have a hard time following asleep. The swaddle has changed our lives. He is sleeping threw the night and not walking up.
Sarah A.
Pretty disappointed in how well this stays on. No matter how I wrap my kids- how tight, where the top of the swaddle hits- they always bust out of it.
Jane H.
I think it’s just our babe that doesn’t like to be swaddled, but we never saw a difference in how she slept. I actually prefer another brand swaddle that you can unzip without having to undo the arms for middle of the night diaper changes. The swaddle looks nice and I could see how it could help with the gentle pressure
Joanne R.
The baby is sleeping so much better than before, love it!
Bianca T.
By night 3 we had sleep training down! Baby is 2 months and after a week of use he sleeps from 9:30pm-5:30am and 6am-8am!
Amazing! It's an essential part of our nighttime routine.
Kaitlin M.
We love these swaddles. We’re currently admitted to the NICU and it really comes in handy since the Velcro keeps him from breaking free and pulling on wires.
Hailey C.
First couple nights was good maybe 3 hours of sleep between feedings. We are now almost 2 weeks in and I don't feel like it has changed night time wake ups at all
Sara R.
Twin Boys, 4 months old. Been using for about 3 weeks.
Still waking up throughout the night but not as many times as previous to use.
Erika R.
Our baby is so zen in the Zen Swaddle.
Erika R.
After trying numerous swaddles we are so happy to have finally settled on these perfect Nested Bean swaddles. The material is soft and thick and keeps our babe cozy and comfy. He has been sleeping much better since we started using these.
Cameron K.
I like that the product is long enough to fit my baby because others are not. But my baby was sleeping better without it. He was sleeping a good 9 hrs in a row now he is not sleeping but 4-5 hours at a time. It is almost like a regression. I like the fabric and the length and the fact that if I would have had it right when he was born he would have fit in the newborn spot. I just don’t think the weighted stuff is what my baby needs
Laura M.
I love the idea but my little one could wiggle right out of the sack. I had bought 2 and the return process for the one I hadn't used was so simple and easy. They offered to return the used one too, but I'm hoping maybe it'll help her sleep when she's older and has arms out instead of swaddled. It's very soft and great material but not for my little escape artist.
Angela S.
The mother to be was excited, awaiting the arrival of the baby to try.
Laura M.
I had such high hopes for the zen swaddle, unfortunately it made no difference for us :(. Will still probably choose zen sleep sac when we make the switch.
Cynthia T.
LOVE this! We tried regular swaddles that weren’t working too well. Other brands were more expensive. My granddaughter sleeps every night with her nested bean, we are thrilled!
Shannon B.
I received my zen swaddles in the mail today, just in time for my daughters mid morning nap. She normally won’t sleep in her cot during the day - 10 min power nap and that is it. She settled straight away as soon as it was on and slept for an hour. She has it on again now for her mid afternoon nap and she was wide awake when I put it on her, drowsy and asleep within minutes. I love my Zen Swaddles. They are a life saver!!!
