This is my 2nd baby I have used Nested Bean with. When my most recent daughter was having trouble with the Moro (Startle) Reflex while trying to sleep I knew I needed an option for her to feel more secure and safe. We tried some off brand arms up swaddles with a little better sleep but not much. Swaddling arms down wasn’t an option as she would just get mad. So I remembered Nested Bean and looked through their options and ending up settling on the Zen One Original as it offers the cuddle band, arms up, and a little bit of weight for security. Immediately 24 hours in- there was a difference. She finally started to sleep in her crib in her nursery during the day, she easily went back to sleep after diaper changes and feeds in the night. I can no longer use this sleep sack with the arms attached which is the reason for purchase in the first place. Product is only covered for 30 days which is disappointing for something so expensive.

Great product in theory. Not a miracle worker. Don’t buy if your babe isn’t into having their hands contained in regular swaddles because this will not convince them otherwise. Made sleeping worse for us because my 4 week olds long arms were so squished it made him frustrated, especially during middle of the night feeds. Also very tight fit. The 0-3 barely zipped on my 10lb baby. Product can’t be returned or exchanged if opened which sucks for us because it’s pretty expensive. I’d go with their other swaddles over this one. Also, I tried reaching out to customer service twice about another issue via the form on their website and have yet to receive a response. Disappointing.

We love this "owl swaddle" -that's what we call it.
Our baby's sleep is the longest and less active when she wears it. Love the mesh "wings" as she feels her hands she tries sucking on. I can only find one problem with this swaddle - very hot. I know the TOG is just 1, but I guess because of that extra wrap inside to keep the swaddle steady - every morning she wakes up wet in sweat no matter how thin the onesie is underneath. The only way to make her not sweat is to close up the wrap on the inside and place her ON TOP of it which can be a bit of a safety issue. ?

This product is great, but it’s a hit or miss whether your baby will like it. My first and second born did not like being in it but my third, she LOVES it. She has sleep better. Not so much longer stretches necessarily, but she seems to be able to relax more at bedtime with it on. Easier to calm her down. Our baby will only sleep in her nested bean. We were gifted the 0-3mth size which worked great we tried a couple less expensive alternative sacks but had no success with any of them. We purchased the 3-6mth nested bean and it worked like a charm. I wish they weren’t as expensive so I could afford multiple sacks, but they definitely are worth purchasing.

Great product in theory. Not a miracle worker. Don’t buy if your babe isn’t into having their hands contained in regular swaddles because this will not convince them otherwise. Made sleeping worse for us because my 4 week olds long arms were so squished it made him frustrated, especially during middle of the night feeds. Also very tight fit. The 0-3 barely zipped on my 10lb baby. Product can’t be returned or exchanged if opened which sucks for us because it’s pretty expensive. I’d go with their other swaddles over this one. Also, I tried reaching out to customer service twice about another issue via the form on their website and have yet to receive a response. Disappointing.

We got our nested bean and that’s all we use anymore. Our little one love to sleep with his arms by his head. He would get so frustrated in the middle of the night cause he couldn’t put his hands in his mouth to self soothe. This allows him to do that wo hitting himself in the face. Thanks nested bean!

My baby was having a hard time falling asleep and staying asleep. She would get woken up by her startle reflex but I understood how important that reflex is. This sleep sack has been a game changer! She’s able to have her hands by her face, which is so good for her brain development and still allows the reflex startle to be present without waking her up! 10/10 recommend!

My little one has had some many issues sleeping that the only way he’d sleep is on me or beside me. I was a bit doubtful when I had bought this but holy cannoli was I wrong. This has made my little one sleep soundly and for longer periods of time. I highly recommend this for you little one.
Also he was about 10 weeks old when we had first put him in it. Now he’s 12 weeks and he’s gotten better sleep and I’m sleeping better.

We love this "owl swaddle" -that's what we call it.
Our baby's sleep is the longest and less active when she wears it. Love the mesh "wings" as she feels her hands she tries sucking on. I can only find one problem with this swaddle - very hot. I know the TOG is just 1, but I guess because of that extra wrap inside to keep the swaddle steady - every morning she wakes up wet in sweat no matter how thin the onesie is underneath. The only way to make her not sweat is to close up the wrap on the inside and place her ON TOP of it which can be a bit of a safety issue. ?

This product is great, but it’s a hit or miss whether your baby will like it. My first and second born did not like being in it but my third, she LOVES it. She has sleep better. Not so much longer stretches necessarily, but she seems to be able to relax more at bedtime with it on. Easier to calm her down. Even with this product being pricey, I definitely believe it’s worth a try.

We absolutely love how well our daughter sleeps and with the cooler weather rolling in, I love knowing she’s got another layer to help keep her warm. My husband was a little suspicious of my decision to try it but even he puts her in it every night because of how well she sleeps in her own bassinet. 10/10 recommend. And to anyone thinking about trying it, don’t be discouraged if the first night doesn’t work out. It took two nights for our daughter to get used to her hands being nested in.
